The Debian net-install i ISO for mac installs the base Debian linux only and requires internet connection so that it would download other desktop or server components. Lo and behold! I have now installed Debian 8. I thus googled around and found a Debian net-install i ISO specially made for mac with one bootloader. Is there anything to watch out for? Otherwise, the firmware will be confused and the ISO cannot be booted. Can I install Ubuntu on it? Mine is probably a 1st or 2nd generation Mac Mini. Can I install the latest Ubuntu Is the installation process very complicated compared to a Windows PC?
